Ismene was a free spirit. Writer, poet, musician, she had a tragic life, living in a small appartment in Paris with no water or electricity, but she was happy to walk the streets, play psychedelic tunes on pianos in bistrots, and surviving on little coffees and putting in form the sounds and words in her mind. She was gentle and sweet and kind, a ray of sun in my childhood. My favorite aunt. She is loving in an old home now, caged, but a necessary cage. However my soul feels for her, and I know she will be free soon again.
